1- JOB DESCRIPTION :
A Housekeeper maintains clean, orderly, and functional environments in private residences, hotels, or institutions. Core responsibilities include surface cleaning, laundry management, and inventory upkeep. Standard qualifications require physical stamina, time-management skills, and basic secondary education.
2- DUTIES :
▪️ Cleaning & Sanitization: Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors; vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture. Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures, appliances, and high-touch surfaces. Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
▪️ Bedroom & Linen Care: Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries. Stock and organize linen closets and supply storage areas. Collect soiled linens and empty trash containers.
▪️ Laundry & Household Management: Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and household linens. Manage basic kitchen clean-up, wash dishes, and restock supply inventories. May plan and prepare meals or run routine household errands upon employer request.
3- REQUIREMENTS :
▪️Physical Demands: High physical stamina to handle constant walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting/pushing items weighing up to 20 kg (40 lbs).
▪️Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern cleaning equipment (vacuums, floor buffers) and safe handling of industrial or household chemical agents.
▪️Organizational Skills: Strong time-management capabilities to complete heavy task lists efficiently under minimal supervision.
▪️Attention to Detail: Keen observational skills to spot missed dirt, handle fragile items safely, and respect strict household privacy.
