One of EP Services’ partners in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada ) is looking for multiple Caregivers under IMP (International Mobility Program)❗

1- JOB DESCRIPTION :

A Caregiver provides personal care and support to individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living. In this role, the Caregiver must be an expert communicator, able to engage in active listening as well as educate their client on how and why they take the actions they take. They must be empathetic and able to feel and understand their clients’ needs as well as compartmentalize their own needs. This is an all-encompassing job that can cover everything from medical needs to grocery shopping and has a broad range of duties that must be fulfilled.

2- DUTIES :

▪️ Maintaining a medication schedule and ensuring clients take medicines on time
▪️ Helping clients with shopping
▪️ Preparing meals according to dietary restrictions
▪️ Performing necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean living space
▪️ Informing family and Physicians about changes in the client’s mental or physical health
▪️ Performing basic first aid and emergency care during critical situations
▪️ Providing friendship and emotional support to the individual
